SES offers Life & Art Academy which is a full service individualized academic and creative arts program for students 7-12th grade that can be “planned” within the school day or within an after school setting. We work to produce change you can see in the child and make a difference the child can feel – Our goal is to create a learning environment based on expectations in which every child expects to learn, achieve, and succeed in school through character building and creative arts. We work individually with children to help them realize their full potential and achieve the most possible in the shortest amount of time. We will work with parents’ through our “Parental Campaign” to ensure expectations are met at home and at school.
SES staff’s innovative tactics allow educators the opportunity to revolutionize how to deal with students and remove disruptions from the classroom and school/organization. SES offers an intentional embedment of a social and creative arts curriculum that builds community which in turn decreases behavioral issues. We utilize an array of dynamic researched-based programs that optimize student learning and community outreach.
SES cultivates constant individualized student monitoring for successful instructional gain both for student achievement and curriculum development. SES’s staff works with students, teachers, staff, and parents to analyze and facilitate implementation of the core curriculum. By regularly monitoring student progress, areas of instruction can be differentiated to increase student achievement. SES will create understanding of what the data shows, the questions that need to be asked and answered. SES sets the frameworks enabling your team to effectively develop and implement your strategic plan. SES provides analysis of your collected data comparing and contrasting with national data. SES assists your staff in articulating your educational community’s mission and vision statements. SES develops strategies, goals, and objectives collaboratively with your team. SES identifies action steps you will take to meet your goals. SES will work with schools to implement a test preparation plan that analyzes data to strategically address deficit areas for your students in preparation for statewide assessments. SES provides ongoing assessment with intervention strategies.
SES provides individualized strategies for increasing parental involvement along with ongoing outreach programs and activities to ensure the positive effects of the environment reach out to the home. SES has mastered numerous activities that create a lasting bond with parents and allows parents to become actively engaged in their child’s learning. Parents will embrace the culture created by proven activities. SES will lead staff to create a Parent Outreach Program tailored to each school.
From the first day of ninth grade until your student is accepted to college and has chosen his/her home for the following year, we will work with you to make sure that your student shines for the college admissions committee. Support includes counseling related to college choice and application, college transfers, and appropriate post-secondary placement.

Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math are critical to student success. STEAM Guides highlight the historical development of technological innovations from the era featured in their Signature studies, along with architecture and engineering feats in world monuments. Students work collaboratively to design their own projects, selecting their materials and presenting formally on their problem-solving strategies.
Signature Series
Elementary students take a school-wide hands-on journey through the history of great ideas and influential leaders in world culture. Students step into the shoes of legends and everyday people in their total immersion, interdisciplinary learning experience.
Signature Humanities
Signature Humanities takes elementary and intermediate students into an immersive project-based learning experience as they construct their own textbook.
Signature Arts Night
Each unit culminates in Signature Night where all students showcase their learning for their parents and community. Signature Art Night organize and highlight the depth of content knowledge and the breadth of visual and performing arts mastery within the Signature Education Series.
Signature Edition
Topics include Service, Self–Esteem, Poetry/Spoken Word, Women’s History, Financial Literacy, and Entrepreneurship.
On the Shoulders of Ancestors
Historical figures, both well-known and unsung, are an integral part of history. Students explore the character and leadership qualities that have always made ordinary people capable of extraordinary contributions to humankind through poetry and performing arts. Students recognize their own capacity to cultivate these qualities, and practice mindfully applying them in their school and home life as philosophy and models of human excellence
SES’s dynamic professional staff will create a Professional Development schedule that meets the needs of the students, staff, parents, and community that is on-going and functional that students, teachers, parents and community members will use to drive academic performance and creativity. We build relationships with stakeholders, which allow transformation to take place.
